(Project Notes) Akiba-Life!

     The life an otaku is no ordinary feat, especially when the intricacies and necessities of one's tight routine are crossed with the quirks and bugs of the outside world! Akiba-Life! is a full-blown otaku simulator centered around Kei Takahashi, a round-the-clock otaku who must survive wave after wave of spontaneous sidetracks in order to preserve his precious way of life and maximize his otaku self! From power outages to dates, serious sams or even alien invasions, Kei will run through fire for the sake of Otakudom!


   The game is planned to have a total of 12 chapters (in months), as the player must aim to perfect his status in 5 realms, and at the minimum, maximize one of these. Events will be a common occurrence in between or during main gameplay, serving to help or hinder your progress as the game progresses. The gameplay has much variety outside of it's "simulation" genre, such as during gaming intervals, going outside, and even in sleep. Major/Boss events come almost weekly, and have a drastic influence on your overall progress.


   The Protagonist: Kei Takahashi is a 24-year old otaku living within the inner groves of Akihabara. His life would be a complete paradise, had it been for the many, many, MANY complications that (literally) come smashing through his door, leaving no limit to ludicrousness. However, Kei will have to face something huge exactly one year from now, and he must hone his prowess as an otaku to prove himself to this coming. Kei is the ultimate immovable object, unrelenting to defeat as he strives to be at the top of his line. He is rumored to have connectons with DOOR.
